Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, which puts the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and to provide a balanced and competitive experience.
Some quick turret models. I'm doubtful that all of them will get used.
The larger missile turret is a bombardment launcher, the missiles have large AOE and be very powerful, but slow firing and unguided. The other missile turret is for smaller ships like corvettes and will fire anvil missiles rather than archers, allowing them to tackle fighter craft.
On the far end are the standard turrets, light and heavy, then a gattling turret which will only be able to target fighters.
The radar tower is more of a doodad than a turret, on larger ships they'll be placed with banks of other turrets to give the impression of a proper PDS battery rather than a line of turrets.
The heavier turrets don't need much explaining.
Still need to make a couple of guass turrets, including the heavy one from Reach, and some turret mountings to place on the angular sides of cruisers and other ships which are a bit awkward in terms of suitable turret placement.
niiiiiiiiice
awesome
Excellent models!
Can't wait to see these models fighting on my screen x)

By the way just out of curiosity, do you guys all have windows 7 or vista?
I was just wondering because I wanted to know if there is a way to make CFHodEdit work on my PC.
I use Vista x64. Just do a quick google search, it's what I did.
cheers I'll give it a try
Has anyone wondered why, if the UNSC can make magnetic accelorators like that at the end of Halo: Reach, why they never made such devices to fit to their starships in turrets, just seems odd.
"It's cool, we don't need to explain it."
Presumably, it's expensive as hell and was put in place to guard the PoA due to how important it's mission was. Why no one was manning it until Emile got on it we'll never know.
Some marines were manning it before Emile had gotten there. They had just set it up, though.
Considering the POA was technically never even on the surface, it's rather... contradictory.
