it looks ok but I dont think it looks anything like a star base from halo
It looks like something from Star Trek... I picture the UNSC using Circular orbitals attached to space tethers like the Tiara... Or Stations like the ODP's there is a wealth of UNSC aesthetics to follow along with and this station just doesn't seem to cut it...
This seems a lot like a ground instillation instead of a starbase...
Why not make it look like the Cairo station from halo2.
I thought the station would look more like Anchor 9 from Reach, and each upgrade would add on a new 'tower' with more weapons, armor, hardpoints.. etc.
