This ship seems pitiful and weak but anything
weaker than a Covenant Destroyer will get pounded
into dust. Best used in groups.
Nice ship ..........um...........but mine is better. haha
That's some impressive Wings3D'ing.
this is a destroyer not a frigate..
nooo this IS a frigate look up on Halo pedia
How's it fly???
They will be my core fleet and defend Mother Earth
no that is the In Amber Clad
@ lisvania, it does not fly. shape does not matter in space. it doesnt have to be aerodynamic since theres no air. i dont think it COULD land on a planet, probably way to heavy
Does the Halo rings not have gravity (LIKEE IN THE END OF HALO 3!!!!)
"Does the Halo rings not have gravity (LIKEE IN THE END OF HALO 3!!!!)" and on the first two games, pretty much all the way through...
anyway yeah the halos have gravity if you're on the inside of the ring. it's generated by the ring's spin (might not be) but it's not strong enough to be affecting spaceships unless you wanted to get within the atmosphere anyway (might not be)
ITS A DESTROYER (and no im not a hater i just want this mod to be the best it can be) fyi it has 2 MAC ;D
btw this is the same class as in amber clad
im sure it says in one of the books that the destroyers look very similar to the frigates but that pic there is a frigate not a destroyer (and besides wif it was a destroyer wouldnt it be bulkier and have thicker armor
Frigate, that's a Frigate of the same class as the In Amber Clad.
Lol. If the In Amber Clad was a destroyer, she might have been able to take on the Delta Halo single handedly - MAC projectiles do have the capability to crack the crust of a rocky planet. The density of the rings, isn't as thick as Earth's crust, is it?
It's only got 1 MAC, and it's MAC it isn't as powerful as the Halcyon or Marathon cruisers. It's pretty tiny, too.
The frigate is more of a cost efficient option for defense, From ODST pods to SHIVA nuclear warheads, it's built for an muti-purpose role
nice
Okay, I have problems with all of the comments here.
One, In Amber Clad was a frigate. Frigates are the largest atmosphere rated craft. They only have one MAC and they do not, will not and never will have 2 MAC's.
Two, All MAC's, save the Super MAC's, come in the same size. There are no "Light" MAC's. They are just MAC's. No light or heavy. That is decided by the round you load. Which in turn is decided by your loadout.
Three, Halo was made by the Forerunners. Don't you think they thought to protect it from something as simple as a kinetic projectile? Basically, a really big and fast bullet? Yeah, they didn't do so well with massive nuclear holocaust. But then again, neither would Earth. However, a MAC round would not destroy Earth. Thus, the Forerunners ringworlds would be very capable of withstanding even a barrage of MAC rounds.
@ lisvania, I will take you on with half a dozen CCS's and you could have hundreds of these and you might beat me after I kill a few hundred. These ships are not meant for main fleet engagements. They are meant to out maneuver their enemy.
Alright. Now for the model itself.
IT'S AWESOME!
