Is the mod balanced based on the FoC counters and etc., or is it based on the actual Halo balances. (The UNSC ships don't have shields, Covenant do. The Covenant are "stronger" you could say)

The Covenant ships are stronger, but UNSC ships are cheaper and faster to make, balancing out the strength issue.

Question regarding weapons. I would imagine that the most powerful UNSC weapon is the Axial MAC gun on most of their craft. How is that going to be handled? This may just be my own preconception, but I don't think the set up required for such a weapon lends itself well to the tactics that are enforced by this engine.

I agree that the MAC guns will be hard to use because of how close ship to ship combat is in this game. In normal engagements, I perceive the distance between UNSC ships and Covenant ships to be about the length of your average FoC map. This is a troubling matter. Easily fixed with huge maps though.

Thats a lot of plasma, I hope the UNSC is bringing a bit more then a Marathon, Halcyon, Destroyer, and a couple Makos to the fight.

judging from what I can see on the mini-map, the UNSC came looking for a fight, or its a fleet of short swords

It looks great, but the long plasma trails just bother me.
I mean, those plasma torps look like a stream of plasma, but the plasma torp is an oval-shaped ball of plasma faollowed by a short trail. Just like the wraith mortor.

Same with the missile trails, too much fire. It's space, there's no oxygen to burn. that's why there isn't any smoke after a rocket exits the stratosphere.

Looks Awesome!!! Definitely getting the gold edition of EaW for this!

Will Spartans and ODSTs be included?

Also the ship models are amazing! The UNSC ships have MAC guns as their power I'm guessing. Also if ODSTs are included, a drop pod landing would look awesome ;)
