Farseer will the Health station be like a big tent with the unsc medical badge. When I saw this image but not enlarge I thought they were 2 falcons on a landing pad.
I always thought it was funny that the entire premise for ODST was that some guy ws unconcious for the entire main battle than has to run all around the city trying to find the rest of his unit. The most action you get to have is the flashbacks to his squadmates fighting the day before, lol.
Anyways, enough of that. Will all turrets be able to attempt to target aircraft like the Hornet and the Banshee or will you have to buy dedicated AA turrets?
Dedicated AA units/turrets is a very lame concept, IMO. You play Total Annihilation for ONE skirmish battle and you will understand the complete greatness of a game that allows all units to attack everything :) Even the little "PeeWee" mech-marines can fire their Vulcans at aircraft...it doesn't hardly do anything but it's fun to watch and at least they don't stand there and take it...
never played TA but have played SupCom which I believe was heavily influenced by TA.
and yes I agree it is better to give all units to be able to at least attempt to hurt the enemy. glad to know you agree :)
It would be cool to create a orbital elevator like the one that fell down in ODST could provide a credit(Or whatever you will use as the currency for the UNSC.) bonus.
Would it be possible to use that Orbital Gun or whatever in Reach (haven't plsyed it in a while) that was used in the Pillar of Autumn level to hit space units in space battles like the hypervelocity gun. God i need to play Reach. BRB.
its a mac gun. i was wondering too except like in the book on reach (yes im a nerd), where the gun was almost a mile long and could fire rounds that would demolish a cruiser in 1 shot. they also had reload rates of 5 seconds. just an idea, your in charge and that would imbalance everything horribly.
Looks amazing, are there going to be equivalents of the repair/health stations and sensor node?
There will be repair stations and healing stations but sensor nodes hardly ever get used. AA turrets will also be included at a later time.
if you increase the range of the sensor nodes they would get used more often :)
Yeah, that is true. The range of a sensor node now is hardly bigger than just a regular turret...so what's the point? lol.
Quite true. In fact, IIRC, I've never used one of those in a battle. Never, not even once.
But if they actually became useful, then they might be...well, used more.
I used sensor nodes as a means of detecting stealth units. It could still serve some purpose as elites make use of camo.
Not a bad idea, and having stealth units revealed by sensor nodes would be a BIG bonus.
I feel the same way, great job. Your awesome.
very cool
Awesome job on this Farseer, i wonder why i didn't get this update...
Yeah, I didn't get it too lol. btw awesome job Farseer.
me either...
LOL, just snipe their heads off.

It won't be a big tent. I had considered making it look like the Optiocan stations from ODST. lol
Csn we expect to see the AA guns from reach?
Yep :) As one of the replacement options for turbolaser towers.
A shame that ModDB had failed to let so many know that this was up, but it is incredibly awesome! This mod just keeps getting better and better!
Lame! Maybe that's why my other pic only had two comments for the longest time... Thanks though :)
Thanks everyone :)
Awesome as always, nice to see something from ODST in here. I feel like a lot of people under appreciate that game though.
ODST was ok, IMO. It's story and characters were weak. Film Noir isn't really Halo either. Uplift reserve was a good mission though.
The pod drop was pretty cool to watch too.
Yes, the drop pod sequence was pretty cool :)

SupCom was made by the same guy and is dubbed the "sequel in spirit". TA is a much better game though.
looking awesome! cant wait to see what else youve got in the pipeline
Thanks :)
awesome, i love these! (actually i love everything, but w/e XD)

It'll be a prop in the BG of some maps but that's all.

and they had a land based power generator so if that was taken out mac guns become big space debris
what about spartans?>?
Really nice! Looks a lot better then the vanilla-turrets!
maybe you should make it a bit more armoured around the sides? the concept is pretty good though
