Try an anvil to the balls then a hammer on top of it just to be sure, and if all else fails then just try and think of something else to hit the ignorant ones with. >.> I wonder how they would fare without their kidneys...

And now to serious stuff, this work is really good I'm looking forward to seeing how it does once its been released. Having played your RotM mod I'm expecting greatness from this one. And I think it'll deliver as well, kudos man.

first you dig out his kidney with a blunt rusty spork, then pass 10000 volts through his ball sac >:)

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

p.s. for those of you who don't know what 10000 volts feels like, either
A: go grab an electric fence, or
B: Watch the Baghdad Battery episode of mythbusters where adam grabs the gold things and gets shocked something silly :P

I'm afraid i must dispute your statement my friend, the chances of urinating in a laminar stream that the electricity can "travel through" is so minute that you'd have more luck in winning the lottery...besides it would hurt less because there's more matter to travel through and therefore more resistance ;P

Actually, I like the buildings from....from... Halo Wars... I know, SHOCKING. I really do think they are the best aspect of that game though. lol. Well, the base turrets suck but everything else is actually pretty well designed IMO.

Are infantry going to be in linear formations like vanilla EaW or be like your mandalorian infantry from RotM? TBH i always felt like that part of EaW made it seem like you were fighting the Brits during The Revolution. Kinda took away from the realism aspect. Oh, and do the hornet/pelican thrusters pivot?

Loving the hornet but can I be honest.... I love it.

....repititions cool.

to your above base building aspect.... how about some sort of C&C style if you can work it on EAW. Either that or make what they did on Beasleys Plateu (plateau?) and have little single structures but you can place say, 10 holograms in a certain area and build on them.

Complications aside, you could just go with the Halo Wars idea. XD I like public opinion

I didn't mean to say that bases are going to function like they do in Halo Wars...I just meant the visual design of the buildings was cool. lol. Sorry for not making that clear. Bases will be the same as in reg EaW, at least for the beta...they will just have new models.

Thanks guys :) I was hesitant at first because poly count would be so much higher but with a few tricks, I managed not to make it too high and I think it looks better now too :)

Would this also be a change one might want to see for the landing variant of the Pelican?

ExoticTofu Nov 9 2011, 5:26pm says:

Well here is a question i havent been able to find the answer to. Are pelicans going to be available as an ariel transport on the ground? I figure it should automatically be a yes, but seeing as most of your developement notes tend to be in the comments, it makes them kinda hard to find ;/

the_Farseer Nov 10 2011, 12:09am replied:

Yeah, that is true. I have answered this question before but only once so I'll give you some slack. lol. The answer is actually no. Arial transports work crapily in EaW. The locomotor used for them just isn't very convincing for a flying unit... :/

+1 vote     reply to comment
ExoticTofu
ExoticTofu Nov 10 2011, 6:21am replied:

Well what if they were put in as a straight-upcombat unit? Ive seen this 'locomotor' and it is crappy indeed. Perhaps using the locomotor for the snowspeeder would look better? (just alot more sluggish, obviously). It would be alot more convincing than FORWARD - TURN LEFT - TURN RIGHT - ASCEND - DESCEND with no modification on the z-axis. Even then, it wouldnt work very well for the pelicans primary function, which, more often than not, is a transport. However, it's also a weapons platform used for hard-target, like phantoms and such. I think it'd be nice to see, personally.

Description

Took some suggestions and added a pilot to the Hornet model. The windshield does have specular highlights...the light just isnt at the right angle to show them off.
