Indeed. Just a random question... What are the system specs of your computer? I ask because I'm trying to figure out if I need to include a "light" version that doesn't have persistent bodies and craters and such...

You'd be surprised. Tracing shadow maps for every corpse actually takes a lot of CPU/Graphic power. Decals and transparencies also use a lot.

You'd also be surprised how many people still use comps that are 5+ years old with not even a gig of ram.

I'm sure you know all this though, being the author of three "bodies stay" mods ;)

Now that pic would be funny if you had like one marine standing in the middle of the picture.

Description

Death clones and terrain decals (bullet holes) are almost perpetual now. Each fade with time but will remain for around 20 min before vanishing completely. Bullet holes remain for a little less time simply because the game cannot handle more than a set amount of "decals" at one time and I need them to clear out sooner.
