Zombie Edition is a mod based on original half-life concept, but you will play as a headcrab and, what is more interesting, as a zombie. Zombies can mutate to change their characteristics into three types and every type will have at least six upgrades including using new weapons and abilities. So, as I said in summary, there will be three types of zombie, that you could mutate in. I don't want to open information about them, but I could not imagine a tier3 ability for one of them. So, let's create... a contest. You post ideas, I think about them and add the best to the game.

This you might find useful - that zombie type is mainly mutated for carrying aliens (headcrabs, barnacles) and even spawning babycrabs. Now try to create an idea of ability for this weird mutant.

And about bio-grenades - yeah, maybe, but I still think it's not this class privilegy. It is not about the damage, it's about numbers of monsters, following you. Imagine that class as... mm... defiled Kerrigan from StarCraft. She's not very strong, can't throw nukes or fire from mega-hyper-super-Yamato-gun, but she commands thousands of terrible aliens. Of course, GoldSrc engine and simple logic won't allow us to do that with so large numbers, but still idea is the same.

It's already done :) But for other class. I'm glad that my way of thinking is same as yours, it means that abilities will not look stupid in player's eyes.
