Hi csderr,

Sorry to hear you are having problems, it kind of sounds like you didnt configure the Hydra quite right.

You need to face the same forward direction as your Hydra base, hold the left controller up under your chin, and press the right start button.

Also make sure you do not have MotionCreator or any other Hydra software running in the background.

Well, mebbe it's a thing I'm not aware of. I have no idea, currently, what either Hydra or MotionCreator are. Normally I'd re-download the mod, but it's just too scary a prospect, considering how it seemed to corrupt my desktop, which I've done twice, with identical results. I've been involved with the Half-Life SP world for over 8 or 9 years and have NEVER had such a reaction from a mod.

Hold on here, pretender! Initially I'm always interested in a new slant on things, but this ain't it! After I got my crowbar from Barney, it filled over half my screen and I had no way of aiming it. WTF?!?!?! So, I cheated with an Impulse 101 and virtually ALL the weapons overfill the screen, except for the Gravity Gun, which I now LOOK THROUGH!!!

Another thing I noticed is that my XP Desktop is all screwed up.

MODDB, do us all a BIG favor and take this monstrosity OFF!!!

Just for the ducks of it, is anyone else having these, or other, issues with this?

Sign me as disgusted!

Hope you're joking. This is a free mod, if you expect the first initial or first couple of releases to be bug-free; you obviously have problems. Also, be grateful he allowed you to play it, many full-release AAA titles would require you to buy it THEN try it out; so be grateful that he's releasing this for free.

After using/playing HL 2 mods for over 8 years, I can hardly see anything to joke about when it comes to a released mod causing what I experienced with Half-Life VR. I also dislike your 'grateful' comments, since ALL mods are literally free to all and have been thus for years. If anything, it's likely YOU that needs to chill...big time.
