Half-Life: Uplink Extended 1.1 Compatible with WON and Steam HL.
My personal remake of the original Uplink, also known as the Half-Life Demo. I did this remake because i really enjoyed the original Uplink, because it was my first ever "Half-Life" experience. I also love the atmosphere storyline.
Since im a mapper, i always look at other people's mapping. In this case, Valve's mapping. So i decided to make my own version of Uplink with the addition of more interesting looking architecture and a high level of detail. Gameplay and entity work is still
pretty much the same except for a couple of changes and additions here and there, but i wanted to maintain Valve's original style of architecture.
Everything is build from scratch. So, if you enjoyed the orginal Uplink, you gotta love my remake. ;-)
Check out the Readme file for more information.
Tip: Don't waste your ammo! Ammo clips and mp5 give you less ammunition than normally.
IMPORTANT! This mod is best played without the HD pack that came with Blue Shift. Play this with the default LD models.
I am in need of a coder to code four Opposing Force entities for me. They are:
I already did a couple of attempts to code these myself but i've hardly any C++ experience so this is pretty much undoable for me. I also tried to add third party Opposing Force monster entites into my dll project but i don't like them, as the monsters don't seem to act/behave the same as the monsters in Opposing Force.
My goal here is to get a very accurate remake of the OppFor monsters.
I know these monsters are tough ones the code, but im sure there's someone out there who can do it. Contact me for further details.

Decent job coming from another TWHLer (The Whole Half-Life) known as Muzzleflash / The Mighty Atom. It's quite a lot of fun as he had corrected many of the weird quirks with the original demo as well as adding on some interesting new architecture plus extending the original demo with some new gameplay. The only thing that brings this mod down is the rather buggy programming with this because things seem to act up quite often in this mod, sometimes even ending with a game crash.
All in all, an eight.
