Spooktober's here, this mod looks the same texture from indie horror game like as hotel 666, the Room and Slenderman series.
I tried to give this mod a chance. This mod starts out in Nazi Germany and you have a photo of that bastard, "Rommel" on your lower left hand screen throughout the mod.
I hate Nazi pig dumbkopf kraut hun hunds....and I wanted to eventually come across that son-of-a-bitch, Rommel, so that I could nail that little *******.
I'M the 'master-race'.....Nazis are the 'bastard-race.'
"Thanatophobia" has custom textures and looks from the 'get-go' like it would be potentially be a great mod. The first two zombies that I came across required no less than about thirty bullets to kill. Their 'hit-point' tallies are much, much, much too high: pathetically and absurdly-ridiculous.
Even with an 'impulse' cheat enabled(to give me all weapons and ammo), I still quickly ran out much of my ammo in my attempt to murder the first TWO zombies that I encountered in this mod. Also, some doors didn't open from the 'get-go' and required a 'no-clip' cheat for me to get to the other side of these closed doors. I gave up on this mod within 10 minutes, as a result.
I rate this mod a dismal 2/10. The hit-points of the zombies need to be lowered exponentially (it should only take "several," NOT many, many bullets to kill zombies like it does in ALL OTHER Half-life mods) and fix some of the 'script' errors and perhaps this would've been a great mod...
