How to use the variations folder...
Because some of you have asked how to use it, even though it's pretty simple to figure out on your own.

First, let's start by opening the folder you keep the SVN content in. Open up the "Variations" folder and find what you're looking for. Let's say you're looking for a new weapon to replace the 9mm Assault Rifle with. Open the "9mm Assault Rifle" and find the weapon of your choice. Let's try out the FN2000, shall we? Ok, there's two folders inside the "FN2000" folder. One named "Required Files" and one named "Alternate Skin". The "Required Files" folder contains the files you need to use the replacement model. So copy the "Models", "Materials", "Scripts", and "Sound" folder and paste them in your Half-Life: Source folder in your steam games. The folder path should look something like this.
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAMEHERE\half-life source\hl1"
Let the folders you pasted in your "hl1" folder overwrite anything it wants to, if you don't, it will cause problems and not work. After it's done, you can start up Half-Life: Source and enjoy your new weapon.

"But Shotgunguy! The folders with Green checkmarks turned Red?"
That's ok, it's just something you'll have to deal with.

"But Shotgunguy! What about the alternate skins folder?"
Oh, yes of course, In that folder, you'll find an alternate skin for the FN2000. Using it is pretty much the same process as using the required files. Just copy and paste the "materials" folder in your "hl1" folder and let it overwrite everything. Now you can enjoy the alternate skin.

"But Shotgunguy! What about the other variations?"
They all use the same process of putting new models and skins in the game just navigate around in the folders until you find something with "models", "materials", etc, and place them in your "hl1" folder.
If you have any questions, please post them below.

Every one of the SPAS shotguns were missing textures. I was forced to use the Mossberg 500, which was also missing textures for a while until a screwed around enough that it looked fine, but it's still not the same. I could just reinstall the default shotgun but then I'd lose all my varied weapons like the SIG P229 and that one that looks like a scoped MP5.

Because you didn't install the required materials folder.
You must have the models, and materials folder for it to work.

It's not my problem if you only install the models folder.
