I finished it, only took about 45 minutes, but i loved every second of it.

sometimes there's be an oddly placed tile texture, or something would be too easy/hard, but nothing that was a show stopper.

i'll give it.... 8.5/10

(great voice acting btw.)

oh, a bug for me.
the .50 cal on the osprey fight didn't work, i had to manually shotgun/crossbow it.

it left me with 5 health to kill the alien grunts with.
i did it regardless.

still, a super mod.
how long did it take you?

Too long! I actually pretty much finished it last summer, and showed it to a few people, but no-one was really impressed, probably because it had me doing all the voices myself and they sucked. There were also a few bugs that hadn't shown up when I tested it myself. So earlier this year I thought I'd have a go at improving it- found some decent voice actors and got loads of people to playtest it- because I've thought for a while that there was some pretty cool stuff in it. And it seems to have turned out OK, based on people's reactions. It's still annoying that there are some bugs (ie the M60) but there you go. I'm going to release a minor update with fixes for stuff like that in the next week or so. Anyway thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

just wondering, are you going to make a sencond?
because i can help mapping if so, i already know how to do decently complicated ones with hammer on source sdk, i haven't made any hl1 maps because i don't know how to fill in the hammer editor.

I'm stuck!

I can't make barney or the scientist follow me after I detonated the bomb i the lift shaft. Is it a bug?

I found it out. Don't want to spoil it, but it was kind of cool.

Nope, it's not a bug. They're not supposed to follow you. What did you think to the mod? You cleared it?

I liked it. The sideline story fitted in the original pretty well and the puzzles were both fun and innovative.
But it was far too short (Finished it in an hour or so), and the section where you were supposed to destroy the Osprey with the mounted machine gun, didn't work to well (bug I suppose).
I also think there were too much backtracking.
The voice actors did a surprisingly good job though(not very common with good custom voice acting in mods), but it felt a bit strange when they suddenly changed back to the original one's time to time.

But overall I had a good time playing it. Have you made any other mods?

Not yet, unfortunately. I'm thinking about making an episode for HL2 though. I want to, it's just whether I have time. Thanks for the comments about Operation Nova!
