Prequel for Half-Life Mod allows to look and take part at the events before Half-Life. You assume the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman. You will meet Kleiner, Vance, Barney, Rosenberg and other characters.
One of the most boring mods ever made for HL. While the mod is daring to be something not based on action for a game that is action based, there is some room here for success depending on the ideas put forth. The gameplay is tiresome, there is one scene where we get to do one of those barney vs gordon competition to see who get inside and unlock a scientists door (gordon naturally taking a ventilation shaft) but the story seriously does not go anywhere. We are fed small snippets and have to do boring crystal anaylsis. The mod ends without us finding out anything new about the characters and the storyline, well I don't really know what the point of it was.
