Half-Life Episode Two begins exactly where Half-Life ended, after accepting the job agreement with Gman Gordon freeman is sent back to the Black Mesa Research Facility, why? Its up to you to find out.
One of the mapping improvements that has been carried out through out most of the maps, to mention also the high resolution textures and the fogged water shader.
WOW
Extreme.
I am impressssssssssssssed. The effects are awesome. The mapping could use some work, though. It's not bad, it's just weird compared to the water.
the knife looks cool too
Bloody Awesome Keep It UP! Oh I Just Noticed But Half Life Ep2 Don't Look Scary With These Pics Did You Do it To Show Us The Effects Of Raven City or What?
I like the old one better.
so lets see, new water shader, removed some lighting, looks like an improvment to me :D
Really nice.
But what do you mean with high resolution textures? Textures with detail textures? The scale (in pixels) of the textures is bigger, and the scale in game is smaller?
By high resolution I mean it literally, the textures being shown in this picture are at least 512x512, with 32 bit color depth, and they still support detail texturing.
Could You Update The Percentage At Some Point
No offense, really.
But this looks just like things taken from Half Life: Source or it IS in Half Life: Source.
I just don't see any improvement.
Besides, this is a thing I want to talk about right now.
Why is it always that new means dark? Seriously.
It was more of a quick test to try the new engine capabilities
Wow.
See it, the GoldSrc in its very best!
for a second there I thought that were HL2 graphics but jeez you are so damn good at this espesualy for one man team
You should add some railings to the edges of the walkways, as it can be easy for a worker to fall off into the water by accident and be covered in sewer water (yuck). It still looks very nice though. Would there be an Ichy in the water by any chance? ;)
These are pre-beta screens, this area does not exist like this anymore
