I am impressssssssssssssed. The effects are awesome. The mapping could use some work, though. It's not bad, it's just weird compared to the water.

Really nice.
But what do you mean with high resolution textures? Textures with detail textures? The scale (in pixels) of the textures is bigger, and the scale in game is smaller?

By high resolution I mean it literally, the textures being shown in this picture are at least 512x512, with 32 bit color depth, and they still support detail texturing.

No offense, really.
But this looks just like things taken from Half Life: Source or it IS in Half Life: Source.
I just don't see any improvement.

Besides, this is a thing I want to talk about right now.
Why is it always that new means dark? Seriously.

You should add some railings to the edges of the walkways, as it can be easy for a worker to fall off into the water by accident and be covered in sewer water (yuck). It still looks very nice though. Would there be an Ichy in the water by any chance? ;)

These are pre-beta screens, this area does not exist like this anymore

Description

One of the mapping improvements that has been carried out through out most of the maps, to mention also the high resolution textures and the fogged water shader.
