Thanks, I'm using soldier models from Opposing Force and Decay but tweaked by Davor. These are just env_models set to play certain animations, and I swap out the models I need for a scene when needed!
Very well made.. Fantastic work to detail.. I assume the soldiers are part of the tank model?
The only disturbing thing in the screens seems to be that the building suddenly abruptly ends there leading into the sky. Perhaps add some additional cliffs of sort?
The tank is brush based, and I am using Spirit of Half life to use env_models (the soldiers with animations) to follow the tank brush as it moves. I use env_models for almost every scripted sequence in my mod that doesn't involve a live NPC, it works so well.
Ah Spirit again. I wish I had that for Mil Duty.. In my outro map the Osprey crashing was to be similar than that of POV. Of course it required Spirit yet again... ^^
I didn't know you could attach npcs like that onto a brush based model. That makes it even a lot nicer then.. Fantastic work! :)
This. Looks. Too awesome. Playing through this mod will be a real treat, I can tell you that! It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling seeing some of the models in there that I mashed together.
This really makes me wish there was a way to slap more head variety into the npc models and it working without having to mess with code. Unless I'm missing something.
And thank you very much for your models! They are excellent. :)
I am happy enough with the variety - the good thing about using spirit of half life is I can customise the body types of models on any npc or env_model when I want! Commander head with a shotgun? Why not!
Oh ya tell me about that... I once collected like 20 different soldier models together into 1 similar than Black Mesa did. Unfortunately they didn't work in in original Opfor. (Sub model swapping) let me know per pm if you would like to get the model pack I made for that purpose (judging by the screens they are certainly compatible to yours!) In Spirit they will work charming. So you could add several Grunt faces more. Some of the models I incorporated are longer no longer be able to be downloaded as their devs left the community and the dl links died out.
Wow. This pic is beyond awesome. Spectacular work MrGnang. This scene feels so alive and real-life like, and the soldiers sitting on the tank sure attribute a lot to that. I also love the tank model and the textures used for the bridge's rail and side. And here comes some nit-picking: see how the wall's red-stripped texture is not perfectly aligned around the corner? Try to address that, though I know it's hard to align both the red lines and the rest of the texture's details.
Truly awesome work once again! Can't wait for HL:Echoes' release. Keep up the unique work my good man ;) .
nice tanks man where do you get that and where do you get that soldier animation look like soldier animation from Opposing Force

Oh and I made the tank myself!
It is brushbased or a model?
Brush!
Nice work, love it!
It rocks
And rolls!
it almost looks like TF: brothehood of arms
great work man, keep it up
I didn't consider that parallel. Maybe it inspired me subconsciously!
This is beyond awesome, cant wait to play this!

Also, work in progress until released :)
