This is test chamber from half life 1? amazing! :)
It is! The player won't be going here, but as long as they recognise where it is then I am happy :)
That's a sweet looking Test Chamber! You have greatly improved it, but you managed to keep the original HL feel in it. Congrats!
This area is only used briefly in the mod, and I tried just copying over the original Half-Life 1 map with some additional detail like the test chamber in the intro of Half-Life 2. However it just didn't fit with the style I had on all my other maps. I tried to imagine how it would look if I approached it in my own style. As long as people understand it is the original test chamber, then I have succeeded! :)
is that a custom render in the textures? looks super
No custom renderer, I just like using texture lights all over the place in my mod :) The orange outline is just the orange xen crystal texture emitting a very bright orange light!
I am using Vulcans compile tools which allows better looking lightmaps to be created on the original engine!

Your take on the Test Chamber is phenomenal. I've played many older mods that simply copy-pasted the original map into their own pack with mixed results, but you went the extra mile.
I can't wait to see more of it :)
