Half-Life 2 mod | Released Jul 10, 2008
Half-Life 2: Wars is a real time strategy (RTS) modification set in the Half-Life universe. Although development is in its early stages, much has already been implemented (be sure to check our downloads section for the current release). Currently there is only singleplayer, but multiplayer is planned. There is thorough mapping documentation available on the forum for those who wish to make custom maps, which may be included in the mod. The current release requires Half-Life 2: Episode one to play.

So July has rolled on past with a great selection of mods standing tall and giving us all great new experiences! Thanks to all the teams who created these great titles, and we can all have high hopes for next month.

Man, I have to buy UT2004 for some Killing Floor action! Perfect Stride Continuum looks hella fun too, loving the retro style... I'm off to download!
Fistful of Frags deserved to be there, but hey, world doesn't end in ModDB :)

The 1.5 one was our biggest one by far, but I understand there are mods which require more attention.

I'm always up for some Zombie action, that UT mod looks hardcore! Hardrock music and dual handguns, yeah baby! =D
I've never tried the Stargate mod, it looks fairly good but I heard it lacks quite a bit in gameplay. I guess that I will have to find out myself. Good coverage of this months mods guys but yeah, you missed the big Fistful of frags update! ;)
Killing Floor looks awesome and I've played through Perfect Stride 4x already and will probably go play it again now. Looking forward to future installments.

its bad when the most fun mod, that you really would like to play for its outstanding gameplay... doesn't come with the nessary files to play... making you hunt down different mods because they have the files... finaly geting the files you realise now that you can at least load the game...come to find nobody is actually playing it, and then after a few weeks of trying you find a server that lets you in, has fast downloading on so you dont drop out 1/2 way... you get the download and then atlast, you get another error saying bentex01 mismatch...
Killing floor and Cold war crysis are the best !

I haven't played good old Killing Floor for a couple of versions and now I can't find my discs! It's just not fair! Oh well, pretty much all the other mods are awesome too... but KF :-( IMO Fistful of Frags should've been in there.
