Thankfully I did not have any problems running the game w/ the new patch fix 1.0.3. (W7 Pro 64bit)
The only problem I've had has been first not realizing I needed to use manhacks to navigate vents etc, its actually a neat idea, once you realize you need to do that :p

And one thing that is abit of a pain is not quite knowing what/where to go next (when in the school), kind of alot of aimless running about in many different directions leading back around to where you were w/out seeing the next obvious route.
Kind of running to this door, locked, this door fake, this door fake, this door locked, this door works, which leads to more fake doors and locked doors and then red laser fences, then you go looking for vents to disable that using manhacks, which whilst looking leads maybe to more unlocked doors that are dead end rooms or lead back to the hall you were in about 6 doors ago .. just abit confusing..

One of the best parts IMO was driving the combine vehicle w/ his gun and rockets!
I also liked how the story started out w/ this kind of romantic moment, but from there its abit fuzzy how you end up being in a combine "barracks" and somehow your sweetheart appears as a *ghost* saying you're an embarrassment and saying she's dead and then at the end you're home w/ her and the combine show up to take you w/ them I guess killing her then ?! but looked like she was killed when whatever happened in the beginning...

The character acting was pretty good and funny in the last map. That one guy Noah ? He was abit annoying, I have to say I wanted to pop him w/ the stun stick lol..
It was cool tho, nice work guys, I bet episode 2 will be even better :)

Yeah, I got your e-mails as well :) Glad to hear you liked the Manhacks and the APC. As for some parts being a bit confusing, I can only hope I will be able to improve on that for the next installment.

The last scene was meant to be a flashback to the past just like the intro, but she wasn't meant to be killed there just yet.

As for Noah, you will have a chance to stunstick him in Human Error Co-op that we might or might not be releasing this week.

Hey, just want to drop by and let you know I enjoyed HE a lot. EP1 was great, probably the best single player mod I've played.

I also tried the traitor mode and it was a lot of fun. I look forward to see this mode further expanded. I thing I'd suggest is to lower the damage of the stun stick to the objective and perhaps limit sprint a little (shorter duration or lower speed)
