Half-Life 2 Capture the Flag brings the familiar Capture the Flag game to HL2. It pits the Rebels against the Combine in a fast-paced battle over the flags within the graphics rich environment of the Source engine.
The mod is an homage to the fast-paced run and gun style of CTF and includes many familiar features found in other capture the flag modifications.

HL2CTF 2.1 Upgrade Patch Updated
The initial upload of the HL2CTF 2.1 Upgrade (Full and Patch) has been updated with proper weapon scripts. This update is most important for server administrators but all players should also update for tournament play on pure servers.
All of the 2.1 files have been updated on all download servers and mirrors. Updated 2.1 files here on ModDB and Desura should be updated very soon as well. Again, casual HL2CTF players are unaffected by this update except when playing on a 2.1 server that has yet to update the weapon scripts. For those playing in tournaments on an updated pure 2.1 server, the following is a link to a very small zip of the weapon script update:
Download the HL2CTF 2.1 Weapon Script Patch
To apply the weapon script patch to your HL2CTF 2.1 installation, simply locate the patch zip you downloaded (hl2ctf210_weapon_patch.zip) and extract the zip with folders to your 'Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods' folder and allow it to overwrite.

Just an update, on the lag, many of the maps are now optomised to the roof, and also look one hell of a lot better, if you compare a 1.4 map with a 1.0 map, you will fell the lag subside, and go away, there cant be much more done, and many of u'r fav fps hl2dm code mods, will have the same issues
