after 20 years in stasis, you awake to find out that the facility of h2f laboratories, the brother company of aperture science, has been abandoned for almost as long as you have been asleep, and the voice you hear is an un-familiar one, not quite human, yet not quite machine. you are test subject 865, and it is time for the test you signed up for, to forward the technological advancement of the united states. however, you soon realize that the voice overseeing your test may be more dangerous than you had previously thought... and it wants to keep you here. your only goal is to gain back your freedom, no matter the cost.
...and, since it's been dead a while and i only now just realised people may still want to know the story, here it is in summary:
#865 goes through his tests, and electros (the badguy a.i) tries to kill him. he escapes to the forgotten wing, tests through ruined chambers while pre-recorded messages guide him. an escape tram is accidentally re-routed into the old facilities, and 865 tests through the cave-like rooms, with the apparently teenage c.e.o of h2f and nephew of cave Johnson guiding 865 through. 865 learns that h2f was a proud partner of aperture, and played a key role in product testing and development. one invention was the earlyest version of the panels. the c.e.o was apparently loaded into electros when cave Johnson died. the pre-recordings turn out to be coming from a core who reveals that the h2f facilities were shut down for 20 years, but the recent power-on was the result of him trying to contact the upper facilities. 865 and the core make their way back up to h2f's main building, where 865 tests through a new and improved facility where electros has used the parts of the original modern facility seen in chapter 1 to turn itself into a massive behemoth of a machine, which 865 blows up by re-directing lasers through the test chambers that are now part of electros. 865 wakes up in a massive crator left behind by the massive explosion, and he and the core climb through the blackened and burnt ruins of h2f labs, until reaching the S.S Blox (which i was too lazy to re-name from it's original roblox name at the time), a space ship large enough to serve as a miniature testing facility. they escape into space, and the h2f moon base where the humans apparently still live and do the science. the end. :)

This mod may be dead, but i'm not: Moddb.com
there is a very very small ARG going on about the next map-pack im working on...anyone get it yet? nope.
accept one guy: Ryanw2ooo.vmf, who came as far as translating the binary code- the first of 3 steps. since im lazy, i'll just tell everyone else what the other 2 were:
1. decode binary code
2. look up what "UP" has to do with portal, eventually find out about the "UPper peninsula of michigan"
3. look very closely at the image i posted. here's a hint: triangle. one word. have fun figuring out the fictional location of the next mod, IRIS!
for other details and stuff, please also check out my new blog:
But be warned, i tend to be off-topic on it sometimes. but that's where i'll be posting most stuff about the new iris map-pack. also, there may be spoilers in some cases later on. to comment on a post, remember to click the post's title. thanks, and have a nice day!
p.s if you helped with h2f's music and produced a track called :"im back", i forgot your name...but i want to use that track still. please pm me.
And get ready for the first Hand 2 face map released to the public
