Welcome to our first media update this year!

Multiplayer Beta Release Q1 2014 Cancelled

Our plan to bring you the multiplayer beta of Operation Black Mesa early this year didn't work out, regrettably. Several factors and circumstances forced us to completely keep it under the hood until further notice.

Multiplayer Progress

Multiplayer will feature classic maps such as Yard, Crossfire and Boot Camp as well as brand-new ones like Deptcharge and Gambit from day 1.
Currently in development: CTF mode and weapon placement.

Singleplayer Campaign

Development is running smoothly; those NPCs aren't going to animate themselves though! If you're interested in joining our team, check out the jobs page where you can find all positions currently open. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Pit Worm's Nest

Remember Guard Duty (Blue Shift: Source)? We're making solid progress here too:

Living Quarters Outbound

OBM: The Video Game?

We've been given the option of developing our projects as full indie titles to be sold on Steam!
This opens up a whole lot of attractive possibilities to consider; however no decision has been reached yet as to this matter.

Alien Controller

M1A1 Tank

Thanks for your support in making all of this possible!

Until next time,
Tripmine Dev Team

You can expect it when they ******* ANNOUNCE IT! Is waiting for a remake of 2 expansion packs which are priced at absolutely free too much to ask?

For crying out loud man it was just a question calm down. Why get so mad over something that is not even related to you at all. I understand game development takes time (And before you say no you don't or something like that I am a game developer myself so I think I know it takes time) And if they want to keep it a secret the release date thats fine but I don't see whats wrong with trying to find out some infomation about the mod. I don't understand why me asking a question that shouldn't offend anyone managed to offend you and it wasn't even directed at you.

Well,TBD means TO BE DECIDED. It's not a secret,it's just that they don't have a definitive release date. For someone who claims that he's a game developer,a simple acronym right at the top of the page of this mod is the one thing you don't understand? MR.sugar (lead developer) himself said that they'll announce it when they 100% are absolutely sure it will be released that date.

What do you mean claiming I am a game developer. I am a game developer. I have my own company as well and I have made many games and mods. And I do know what TBD means and I was never asking for a exact release date I was just asking for like if it would be around the begining of the year or in the far or to near future.

Well, they don't know. "But it's only approximation like this decade plzplztellme" that's you. But asking about the ******* release date for the ******* trillionth time is not gonna get things ******* done quicker. The last thing this great developer needs is peer pressure.

jrburger95 Jan 20 2015, 4:18pm replied:

I am not pressuring the developers. The only reason I want to know is because I have actually been following this mod for a while and since I started it has seemed pretty dead with no news. I know it is not dead but the last official piece of news they post was about a year ago. So I guess I would just like to know a small detail but if its not final or they don't want to give one out thats fine there is no pressure. It is just it isn't really good to keep your fans in the dark about your game for so long because they might start not being interested. I am not saying this game will lose its fan base I am just saying it is a posibility if they don't at least tell us that it is still in development. I agree they have worked very hard and woudld probley deserve a rest even for a bit. Game development is very hard and that is why games take so long to make but that is also why you have to keep the fans up to date other wise they might think the mod is ddlead but really it is just being worked on but they havn't posted much news about it.

Hey, we are constantly in touch with our fans. Just a visit of facebook, website and it should be clear enough. We do not post big updates, but there are small ones here and there.

I'm pretty sure they would announce it if the mod is dead for ****'s sake.

I now the game is not dead. What I am saying is it would seem dead to a new user who has not heard of this before. And normaly it is they anounce it if it cancled dead is when they just left it with a general update that dosen't say anything about it being cancled and yet it seems cancled. Also I still do not see why you are mad.

This is the reason. When you guys didn't read any of the upper section description. Before commenting.

Anyway, this project is going to release in free during in the final production and you're going to even more happy before that happened. It can be just directly install without requiring of the EP2 to play it.

Also, have a great day to you.
