Multiplayer Beta Release Q1 2014 Cancelled

Our plan to bring you the multiplayer beta of Operation Black Mesa early this year didn't work out, regrettably. Several factors and circumstances forced us to completely keep it under the hood until further notice.

Multiplayer Progress

Multiplayer will feature classic maps such as Yard, Crossfire and Boot Camp as well as brand-new ones like Deptcharge and Gambit from day 1.
Currently in development: CTF mode and weapon placement.

Depthcharge

Singleplayer Campaign

Development is running smoothly; those NPCs aren't going to animate themselves though! If you're interested in joining our team, check out the jobs page where you can find all positions currently open. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Pit Worm's Nest

Remember Guard Duty (Blue Shift: Source)? We're making solid progress here too:

Living Quarters Outbound

OBM: The Video Game?

We've been given the option of developing our projects as full indie titles to be sold on Steam!
This opens up a whole lot of attractive possibilities to consider; however no decision has been reached yet as to this matter.

Thanks for your support in making all of this possible!

Please contact Valve and sell this. T___T
I´d prefer buying this and knowing that I will get to see some more of you guys in the future. And about the name, not gonna change it? Barney´s Tales sounds so... Un-Half-Life. D:
Like Half-Life means something scientific and so does Blue Shift and Opposing Force and ****. :O
Why not just call it Guard Duty? The beta name for Blue Shift. Sounds wicked and ****.

Best of luck,
MECHANIX

If u were refering to me, well I didn't think your idea as bad, but it will harden the game...
Anyway every mods need some new challanges, so if the headscrabs would hop up onto are heads -- well, I'd like it afterall...

BTW, this mod will be really released in 2007? -Sometime in the remaining 110 days?

Your a genius man!!! Why don't the headcrabs actualy attach themselves on a human, in HL2 they should've done it. Do it in this mod!!!

You know what you guys should do? Make it so that the headcrabs attach themselves on other humans. For example: You have a scientist right by your side and a headcrab appears. Instead of it killing the scientist, it just jumps on his face.
