When a squad of rebels find themselves trapped under the ruins of City 17, they believed that their rescue would be a simple matter. A skirmish with an Overwatch scouting party, however, quickly escalates into a major battle amongst the debris, with great consequence.

I'm considering just making the place where the rebels are basing the ruins of the nexus themselves, mostly flattened with only a little evidence of what it used to be.
Ahh, the nexus, damn thing gave me hell both on the roof and the damn ground. Now it's those damn cyborgs turn! I finding the irony quite amusing so i hope you'll keep it in the mod.
Oh indeed, I too like the idea of visiting the areas from HL2 again, except destroyed.
The Nexus seems like a good place for a stronghold but as far as i remember, it was pretty close to de Citadel and that place should be just a big pile of rubble ... and radioactive
It takes place a week after the citadel blew. That gives some time for the radiation to cool down, but it will still cause minor, slow damage as you get closer to the citadel, I imagine. I didn't think it was that close, but I'll double check. In any case, this mod is still heavlily WIP and very few things (with the exception of the storyline and a small number of maps) are certain at this point.
