Well, if its not information it wont be anything! Unfortunately developers in fields that would create early art assets (lweapons/characters/props) for media on a modification have not come to our table yet. Of course we are working hard to rectify this, however.
I do various roles in this modification. Right now the predominant ones are managing/recruting & PR, and no i dont want an award for that [yet..]. In the two months since I submitted this I havent had time to do the recruiting i've wanted to because of a house move which just kept delaying and complicating my life. Im working to secure a new fast internet connection in this house so that i may act on this project with outward passion - I cant wait.
I've changed a lot of parameters regarding things like release estimates, on the back of a lot of criticism/advice from moddb veterens and the time ive had to reflect the scope of this effort. The changes will become more clear once more developers come on, just because of some factors being unknown regarding numbers. What we can say now is that our aim is for you to most likely get versions of our mod as singular levels. For instance ;
Release one :
- Dam level SP
- 4 difficulty levels [agent, secret agent, 00 agent, 007]
- 3 animation/death modes
- MP w/deathmatch and team deathmatch [standard varieties of each]
- Library made in "updated classic" variety
- 4 characters for MP [bond, siberian guard (hat and no hat), russian soldier (hat and no hat), russian commandant]
Now onto what HAS happened in concrete! This is the fun stuff for the team and moving forward. We have gotten 2 new developers (not bad under my circumstances lol) ;
MTM0201 - Music composer
He has already sent the team an early WIP for the first level in SP "Dam". He was prompt (despite his tireless efforts in his work in his other modification ; HL: Warzone), which i personally loved to see. The track is really nice, once he develops it a little further it will be ready as a piece of media to promote. At that time my classic track will ship as a music media release for you all to hear our tease!
ETBen - Animation Consultant/PR/Legal
He gave me the offer of his various mod skills and we are gladly willing to take him on board! He has done stints in many mods, most noteably for the HL2 mod, Insurgency. Recently he became the lead animator for MW:LL, and will hopefully give us some good leading as well. Our mod entails a lot of animation elements, so his prescence will help the DEV group get a handle of the task and how best to tackle it.
