When two hyperspace explorers stumbled onto the remote world of Korriban, they never could have guessed the chain of events they were setting into motion. Over the previous centuries, the Sith Empire had grown in size and strength, and Korriban was the very heart of its dominion. The reigning Sith Lord, Marka Ragnos, had just died, sparking a brutal power struggle between rivals Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow. The explorers’ arrival marked the first contact between the Republic and the Sith Empire, and it created at an opportunity to end the power struggle. Naga Sadow seized the moment and rallied the Sith for a pre-emptive strike against the Republic under his leadership.
Sith Outpost.
Basic outpost constructed by the Sith on worlds in which they have interest. This building will be necessary to build if the Sith want establish more complex infrastructure. The structure will be upgradable much like a starbase adding features and allowing additional options for the base complex.
Very nice. Simple yet interesting, I especially like the turrets and tanks connected to it.
Say, by any chance this was influenced from the Second Clone Wars mod? We once posted a feature list that had a smiler feature planned some time ago.
Just to be clear: I am NOT trying to start a pointless debate here by doing a baseless claim the he stole the idea, I'm just simply asking a question.
Nope, I've had the idea since FOC came out, with consortium's palace having hard points on it (Like a Starbase), bot nothing really to do with it beyond that.-I also always wanted to make a game that had upgradeable buildings, so why not add to my mod.

Love ideas like this, always thought there neede to be more variety in the game, especially in structures.
I'm making a Vast array of props/ each planet will have a unique set.

Does this mean that your outpost will function in much the same way that the outposts function in the "Stargate: The Pegasus Chronicles" mod? In that mod, the Tauri (Earth) must build an outpost before they can build any other land based structure.
That sounds about right, I might be making a few other buildings that can be built, such as supply dumps or something. But for now it made sense to require some form of C&C on the planet before anything else can be built.
I'm toying with the idea of only making the outpost needed on "new" worlds, ones that the empires do not start with and must "discover"
