When two hyperspace explorers stumbled onto the remote world of Korriban, they never could have guessed the chain of events they were setting into motion. Over the previous centuries, the Sith Empire had grown in size and strength, and Korriban was the very heart of its dominion. The reigning Sith Lord, Marka Ragnos, had just died, sparking a brutal power struggle between rivals Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow. The explorers’ arrival marked the first contact between the Republic and the Sith Empire, and it created at an opportunity to end the power struggle. Naga Sadow seized the moment and rallied the Sith for a pre-emptive strike against the Republic under his leadership.

This represents the general style of the mainline warships of the Republic. The Republic navies will be a mixture of more or less equal numbers of Jedi ships supported by enlisted fleets.
Vs the Sith Empire which will have a strong main fleet roster with fewer but larger Sith lord vessels to lead them.

Oh what other ships likely were in this Era we can expect? Praetorian Frigates?
I didn't think of it before but I'm excited to see the Republic Navy from back then! (Not as many names/pics for em!)
If I get into later tales of the Jedi stuff, Praetorian frigates will be added. however I do not have plans on adding them.

Yeah, phase I, is totaly based on the GHW, later phases will have more modern ships such as Praetorian frigates, but don't worry, there will be a LOT of old style ships.
