God of War is a free mod for Duke Nukem 3D version 1.5. This means that all you need play it is Duke 3D with either the Plutonium Pak, or the Atomic Edition. The mod is designed and built in a traditional 'addon pack' style. It contains three groups of levels.
The first is a new single-player episode containing seven maps. This takes Duke on a new journey; starting in town near L.A, then travelling through canyons to an EDF earth base, a moon base, an alien mothership, and finally to his destination: Mars.
The second group of levels are designed exclusively for multiplayer. There are five Dukematch maps, set in a variety of locations, including the alien homeworld, Mars, and umm... something called 'Kwake'.
The last episode contains maps for a new multiplayer game: 'Arena'. In an Arena game, two players fight to the death in a map no bigger than a few rooms. All maps are different, but each map also features one specific weapon. As soon as a player spawns they are given that weapon with infinite ammunition.
The single-player episode features three new enemies and a new boss. In Duke's favour there are also two new weapons; the 'Fire-Thrower', which spits out flames and can be used to rapidly set fire to large areas. There is also a prototype weapon, the 'Forcegun'. This is basically a force-field in a gun - as well as damaging enemies it also propels them away. Naturally, these weapons are also available in Dukematch and Arena games.

Voxels for Duke Nukem 3D (to be used in modern sourceports such as EDuke32, Rednukem or DukeGDX)
I'm stuck on level 2 at the construction site.
This is the level where you start on a firetruck that smashed through a fence.
There is a crane in the frame work. There is also a window in a nearby building but I can't reach it. I've killed everyone else.
What do I do?
Yeah, this wasn't so obvious. There is a pile of rubble or sand on the floor near the framework. Stand in the middle of that and the crane will come and pick you up and put you onto the wall. You can walk around the wall and then jump onto a ledge, then walk along that ledge to the window. Sorry it took five years to reply!! ;)
No problem, better 5 years than never!
I still have God Of War, so next time I play it, I'll look for the crane
Thanks
I play DN3D with the high-res/3D model patch, thus:

Is it possible to play God of War with hi-res textures?
GoW is OK so far (made it into the second level) nothing great, but maybe the later maps are more interesting.
