GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result thus far is said to be, and aims to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".

You'd better believe it. I just need the time of an modeller/animator or two to add some stuff Deus Ex is missing, namely hand models to hold miscellaneous items (fire extinguisher, medkit, candy bar etc) and the associated animations, although I want so much more than that.

Do you like my custom HUD/UI color theme? I think it looks badass.

HUD reminds of Terminator :) It is badass indeed!
Also, what about hand-to-hand combat? Do you have plans for it? I know, you need models and anims - but I can hardly believe that nano-augmented agent is not capable of taking down feeble humans by bare hands.

When I play Deus Ex I feel that most cyberpunk games miss classic interactions with augmented humans and robots - hacking them, putting viruses into them, use their vision, gain access codes, block weapon use, paralyze them, commit suicide or be suicide bomber, use weapons against allies, use them as lockpicks for doors or direct them to mines. In other words - take control over the battlefield!

Description

You can swap the positions of two items in the inventory if they are of matching size. Drag your item over another. Blue highlight indicates a swap is possible.
This adds depth to inventory management without eliminating the "Tetris" aspect.

To be available in GMDX v8.0
