What is the game? Gettysburg: The Last Breath is a First Person and Third Person shooter modification for Battlefield Vietnam. It is based on the American Civil War back in the early 1860’s where the Northern States and Southern States fought for four long, bloody years... Why create this game? We are creating this game because we love to pay homage ot those brave Americans who fought and died on American soil in the Civil war, and we love 3D shooters! So why not put them both together?! What is the main focus? The main focus of Gettysburg is to reenact the civil war out in a real-time 3d Strategy while fighting your way through enemy lines for what you believe in! Game play is focused around strategic battle tactics, while controlling territory and advancing troops in order to expand. What’s different? Well for starters Gettysburg is an original idea! It's time for the "How Well do you know Gettysburg?" Competition! Up for grabs there is a copy of Battlefield Vietnam, and a copy of Farcry, you get to choose. If you have both games, bleh, don't enter!

This is a pretty simple competition to enter. All you have to do is Register on the forums so you can read the Competition thread which gives of the rest of the details! There is a Quiz there with 20 questions that you have to answer. He who knows the most about Gettysburg, and the American Civil War, will win. That’s basically all I can say right now! Simple!

NOTE: There has been some uproar over this allready because the questions are not all about the Civil War. Its Trivia about our mod, not the civil war. If you dont like it, then dont do it. Simple. Just dont go abusing us because you might not know the answers. Every single Answer is out there.

I gotta admit that this is an excellent promotional quiz. If I had the funding, I would do something similiar for my mod (DrugWars)

However, there is a significant flaw in it: The use of search engine for the answers. This is the reason that I did not enter the competition. I would have felt like I am stealing the games from you. I could have also done it without a search engine, but I know little to nothing about gettisburg, let alone your mod (but now that I have seen it , I must admit it looks pretty darn impressive)...

Any google search with the right keywords could turn up the answers to even some of the personal trivia questions.

If you are going to give the games out to the one with the highest score (and not the one with a specificly set score), cheating would not hurt you (because you would be giving the game out anyway), but it would be unfair anyway...

In any case, your mod is looking pretty sweet ;)
