Our universe and the universe of command and conquer are completely parallel up until 1946, when Einstein used a prototype chrono device to take himself back in time to 1924. The only known time where Adolph Hitler's whereabouts were confirmed. The place was Landsberg, Germany.
When Einstein came into contact with Hitler, the CnC universe diverged from it's parallel nature with our own and become one that is completely different after 1924.
By erasing Hitler from the time-line, Einstein had prevented the suffering caused directly and indirectly during the Second World War.
But during the 1950'ies, Stalin decided to invade the rest of Europe to claim the land for mother Russia. Due to the lack of a military force from Germany to oppose him, it would seem that the Britons would be the only free people.
But, thanks the Einstein's Chronosphere. The Americans were able the chrono-shift into Europe and help the defending Europeans. Eventually, Stalin was defeated and a new leaser was put in charge of the Soviet Union. Premier Alexander Romanov.
For many years there was peace between Russia and the rest of the world.
In the early spring of 1971, the soviets invaded. Leading the Soviet invasion is General Vladimir whose forces push through Mexico and the East Coast. All the allied forces can do is to rally up and fight back.
Thus, the Second Red war has begun.
Reborn on the SAGE engine, the RA2 and YR story will be relived with real time 3d graphics.
We of the ConRed team are not only trying to create the RA2 experience, we are also going to enhance it with new features.
New factions.
New units and structures on the original sides.
And, a Yuri campaign.
To keep the authenticity of the RA2 universe, the new technologies will not be available in the campaign modes.

I have implamented a ConYard system into the mod now, anf have been able to make it simaler tot he RA2 one.
Unfortunately, i've not been able to get a prebuild (the structure is built inside the conyard) into it.
So the build up animation will be used instead of the scaffholding/crane thing in generals.

Sorry for the long delay in updates, I had trubble loading MODDB, but thats fixed now. Although I have not been abble to up date, that has not stopped me modding.
You might think the mod died because of the homepage going, well that was a compleatly differant reason.

love the models. I think you should keep the veihcles and units the same as ra2/yr, i think thats where most mods go worong. Seeing all these ra2 - generals mods, makes u think how much people dont want the game to "move on". Good luck.
