No, we won't add this type if troper. I don't see any reason for that. Sorry

Hey, they could be used as rocket troopers using the PLX-1 instead of RPS-6, therefore making much more damage. Think of them as specialized tank hunters.

We have already too many clone types. We won't add more, at least for now

Although the role you've given them would much better fit the clone engineers, I'm still glad that another clone specialization has made it into the mod. So yes, please. Also, I'm glad that you didn't forget about their backpacks :D

But what about them actually planting mines & detpacks? Or is it impossible by FoC standards too?

Engineers, rocket launcher troopers and sniper spotters plant mines. The pioneers are instead of the standard engineers for the 212th.

Kinda makes sense. Also, I like the name you gave them: clone combat pioneers. Fits perfectly. A job well done indeed.

Yes. I like the idea a lot and it is cool that they are at least making an appearance. I know you can't remove mines, but can you place them? Given that they are explosive experts it would be a nice ability.

Yup. As Suerteto already stated, clone engineers, AT troopers and sniper spotters can place mines.

Like everyone says: yes!

In my opinion the orange is a little bit too flashy ;)

Orange might be a tad saturated (Like what CdtFox said). But regardless, I'm all for it.

Guys, read the description of the previous pictures and read again the title of that one. Its "yes AND no". I'm not asking you should I put this ubit in the mod, I'm announcing it. The idea was that yes, we have the Ordnance Specialists, but actually no, wevdon't have them as they have different role in the mod
