No point in playing a mod that crashes all the damn time, I can't even get to the FIRST CHAPTER because it crashes every time the cutscene ends!

I even tried 5-8 times! No luck...

Well, the level design is ok, the story needs to be clearer, and I noticed major flaws with some npc scientists, the weapons skins and new enemies make for a nice change. it can be challenging but some of the maps can be a bit dull.

it's short so you can play it if your bored.

Possibly one of the most flawed mods I’ve played. The story is extremely vague and not much more to say about it, you have an idea as to why your there but nothing is ever explained as to why you are to retrieve the suit or who those germans are but thats not why the mod is average at best. The level design is very simple, blocky rooms galore, to more big square environments with nothing else to distract apart from 2 or 3 APC’s which seem to be almost out of place in such drab levels.
The lighting is poor, its like a dark blanket is placed over the whole mod, even in places where there should be some light.
The gameplay was also pretty average with no real challenge.
I will give this mod some points on the account of new content in the form of some textures and a few weapon sounds and some German taunts… with 3 weapon models borrowed from Team Fortress Classic.
The snarks look a tad lightish red, and the gargs are big shiny monstrous robots with a blue fire guass cannon arms.. machine gun is silenced.
But its a old mod, the textures have aged badly so even they are nothing to celebrate.

The fact is the mod had some good ideas, the German soldiers with superior weaponry, German scientists that try to inject you, big robots (gargs), prototype HEV (which is essentially the same thing Gordon wears just comes with a free Egon), using one of the TFC models as a futuristic hornetgun… but all of it is given to us with a poor story, terrible level design…
the ship itself should have been great as its a unique environment but it to was ruined with big squarish almost empty rooms.
The end fight was bizarre and random, with no conclusion although fitting considering everything else incoherent about it.

thankfully it wasn’t very long.
