GMod is a Sandbox Modification.
Using GMod you can pose ragdolls. This means can position people from HL2/CS/DoD and change their faces. A big comic book creating community has popped up around this feature.
Using GMod you can build. Take props from HL2/CS/DoD and weld them together to make walls. Axis a wheel to it to create a working car. Rope some cans to the back. A big contraption creating community has popped up around GMod - creating such things as Rube Goldberg devices, catapults, cannons, bridges etc..
Using GMod you can make your own weapons. That's right, make your own weapons. Using Lua you can create a custom weapon to do just about anything. If you're new you can change simple things like rate of fire, models, sounds. If you're awesome the world is your oyster, mass changing guns, melon cannons, jetpacks.
GMod gives you the freedom to do any of these things in single player or online with your friends.

- Made ropes not fall through floor
- Made ropes non rigid
- You can now attach ropes to the landscape
- You can now attach ropes to specific attachment on ragdolls
- You can now attach ropes to specific places on props (instead of always coming from the center)
- Welds now welds to specific attachments on ragdols
- Saving now retains the physical constraints
- Manhacks no longer collide with each other
- Scanner no longer blinds you
- Can now sprint with the physcannon
- Added gravity gun with the following changes
- Got rid of deploy animations/delays
-Removed annoying welding pellets
-Secondary fire now pauses the object's physics movement
-Completely ignores NPC's (this causes crashes, JBmod)
-Faster & stronger
-Ragdoll manipulator

You should make your mod multiplayer :) i want to play with my brother so bad in it and just play around like crazy :P. By the way. Your mod could be the next entmod for half life 2. Except you might want to call it Physics Mod :). Just a idea. If you need any help with it i could help ya. I have my own mod (op4 2) but im just waiting for a stupid coder that has the software that i dont :P.

opps n/m i just found out that you can launch people
i'm going to play this mod as soon as i beat hl2. tip for garry ;): this mod can be the best mod if for the next version you make the grav gun much more powerful (without changing the world's gravity) and make the grav gun able to pick up people and launch them billions of feet into the air. iv been waiting for someone to make a mod like that :(. oh well congrats on the award
