GargArena is a teamplay mod for Half-Life. It features scaled down versions of the alien garg (from the original HalfLife) fighting against robots made by the scientists. It features a very nice particle engine, which models the flamethrowers perfectly. All new weapons, that we are trying to make original are included.
So far we have an assault mode and an innovative 'maze ' mode, which to the best of our knowledge has never been seen before. It features levels that change from round to round.

eeem a why isnt it called gruntarena or agruntarena because the garg is: Ambientimpact.hl-improvement.com
Because this is about Gargs and not grunts. There are actually player models made for the garg and robo-garg, but this has never passed beta phase and they never got past the default player model skeleton.
The models are "EGarg1" (Blue Garg) and "FGarg1" (Robo-Garg). They are in the models/player directory.
All the weapons are garg themed and include flames, stomp attacks and some added weapons like an eye laser or a biological smoke sticky grenade. I think the team originally planned to have three different models for each side.
does every map have a time ???
Sorry for the late reply. I believe there is indeed a time limit on each map though it varies for each one. That time is a "round" time limit. It's different on each map.
Also, as a side note to anyone that reads this... if you can host a server for this game, then let us know. People are still downloading and trying to play this game, but there are almost never any servers. This is because many people can't make servers or can only make lan servers.
Let us all know if you can host a listen server so that players can schedule games with you. This is particularly tricky with steam and current versions of the engine and I, for instance, port forward but still cannot host.
If you want to play GargArena, be sure to set up a game with friends. We suggest the use of Steam Communities and BWL is offering its own.

It looks funny, i like the effect with some of the weapons what happened to the team? is there anyone left? maybe you can get a new team this is really worth carrying on with "bacs" seems more than willing to help.
