Star Wars: Galaxy at War is a total conversion mod for Starcraft II. We will replace the playable sides with two; the Republic and the CIS (Separatists). Check out our unparalleled models, textures, and animations in the Images section, as we continue to work behind the scenes in preparation for the launch of Starcraft II.

Galaxy at War is a mod that aims to bring all of the Star Wars prequels, the first three movies chronologically, into one mod. Familiar environments, characters, and weapons from the prequels will appear. We aim for perfection, and we create every model, texture, or animation with extreme detail and high quality.

It's been a while since our last update, so I wanted to give you all a quick rundown on the mod's status. Currently, we have a medium sized staff, and are always looking for additional artists (modelers, texturers, etc). We are ready to start putting our art ingame and coding the factions and gameplay, but due to mod limitations set by Blizzard and Battle.net, we can't do that right now.

However, when the Mod SDK is released and Blizzard allows mods to have a much larger file size, we can begin to code our units ingame and work on getting you guys a beta.

With that said, I'd like to introduce the newest member of our staff, David Radford. David is a professional freelance artist with a background in creating Star Wars themed art, so he is an extremely valuable addition and we love his interaction and output. Here is his first piece of work, a Work-In-Progress sculpt of Saesee Tinn!

(Character sculpts are used for cinematic cutscenes, trailers, and normal, specular, and displacement maps).

No they dont ruin the game if you say it from the point of fan but if you mean it ruins it from the point of files yes it maybe ruin it if you dont know how to install the mod...

Please if you can make the troops actually coming out of the transports and not just appear and disappear from nowhere and also the Tanks and all the stuff to be seen like when the transport picks them up you can see it hanging from below i know i ask to much but if you could fo this it would be awesome......!IM BUYING THE GAME ONLY FOR THIS MOD!!!!!!!Also will be there an animation on Lightsabers like deflecting blaster bolts or the glow from the clash between the sabers or it will be just hit and hit with no actuall contact of the sabers and also different ways of dying in other posisions or finishing moves???

Im just asking questions most of the things that i wrote are questions about the game and this mod is better than unleashed....I just want the ultimate STAR WARS RTS mod is it bad? if i new how to mod games or even find tutorials i would help or even make my own mod.I know the stuff i asked are to much but i over reacted sorry... XD

Well, what I can tell you is that we're huge fans of the movies. We like to see cool things like the droids being put out of the transports.

I don't know what the engine will let us do, but I can tell you one thing - We already have the MTT modeled and animated where the droids on the rack are placed on the ground and activated. Just like in Episode 1.
