Star Wars: Galaxy at War is a total conversion mod for Starcraft II. We will replace the playable sides with two; the Republic and the CIS (Separatists). Check out our unparalleled models, textures, and animations in the Images section, as we continue to work behind the scenes in preparation for the launch of Starcraft II.

Galaxy at War is a mod that aims to bring all of the Star Wars prequels, the first three movies chronologically, into one mod. Familiar environments, characters, and weapons from the prequels will appear. We aim for perfection, and we create every model, texture, or animation with extreme detail and high quality.

Our mod's new forums can be found at www.swgaw.com. Currently it links directly to our forums while our new website is under construction.

To accompany our behind the scenes modeling, texturing, and animating progress, we have also been developing a website and forums of our very own. Head over to the new www.swgaw.com to register on our forums and get a chance to see some new units soon!

Our homepage is still under construction, as we hope to polish it up to the usual Galaxy at War high standards. For now, visiting our website at www.swgaw.com will link you directly to our forums.

Enjoy!

No, we are definitely not dead. We have done a ton of work behind the scenes, getting almost all of the art done so we can put out a beta as fast a possible when Starcraft II comes out.

sorry for my crappy english.

I am stunned, your models are simply great and full of life. I see some stuff that makes me remember some star wars: republic's commandos models. especially the republic commando's texture that you made. it's simply superb, you cached de essence of that game and pasted on a rts texture.

somehow the clone trooper colours remind me of battlefront II or I, I dont remember. but I remember those brillant colours.

I must say your abilities are great and that these pictures have made my day, in spite I am not a big star wars fan, I am a gamer and I know by experience how difficult is to make models, specially the organic ones.

I must say that most of your mods material is commertial level. I salute you for your work and the effort you gave on a hobby like this, and if you never finish the mod I would like to have those models.

PD: OMFG that is sev!!! oh-seven!

We probably wont make it for CnC3 - we expected a huge mod community for the game and it was the complete opposite if what we expected.

However, I have been contacted by many excellent CnC3 modders/coders and I'd definitely allow them to code it in for CnC3. It won't be our main focus but it is definitely an option.

And yes, I highly recommend you get SC2. The possibilities it has are endless and it is perfect for a SW mod. The game is my dream come true for a SW mod. For example, different death animations depending on how they died - meaning we can have special attacks/deaths that they'll use depending on who they're fighting - Jedi/sith and bounty hunters for example. They can be beheaded when they die to a Jedi, or take a lot of blaster hits and stumble down against a bounty hunter. This also allows us to make epic fights with Jedi/sith instead of have them sit there doing the same 2 attack animations over and over again.

Not only that, but they have code where each unit in a squadron walks slightly differently, which us amazing. I could go on and on...the maps/textures are perfect for SW planets like mustafar/Kamino...I really could go on and on.

So yes, I suggest that you get SC2, both for the game itself and the mod.

Good news.

After about a half year of inactivity we have started working again. The mod will probably be for Starcraft 2. However, in the meantime, we will continue to work on the art for the mod so that when SC2 arrives, we will have mostly coding left to do.

But never fear, this project will get finished.
