Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

He was already incredible for managing to juggle leading a mod and being a doctor for so long.

It's awesome to see just how much has been accomplished. Taking part in the first internal beta was a lot of fun and it was nice to be able to help out. I also recall Sizer calling me up when the Demo came out to join his New Republic fleet. That was a hell of a lot of fun as well. All in all I still can't wait for the mod(actually more like a full on new game practically) to be released. Keep up the good work guys :D

It's hard to believe it's been so many years. I was Thirteen years old when I first began to play Tides of War under the development leadership of Dev. I can't believe that was ten years ago.

I had a lot of fun in the early years of this mod; testing and helping to provide feedback with the dev team was a great deal of fun. Good luck you guys! I can't wait to see the fruits of all your labor brought to light.

Kampher! That's a name I haven't seen in a longgggg time. Warbird here. Was just doing a bit of googling about ToW, glad to see FW:ToW is still coming along slowly but surely. Weird to think we played the original ToW some 10 years ago!
