Firstly these editors will feature multi-language support! I haven't even started the translations yet - but the program itself loads all UI text from a localization file external to the program, with a localization file for each language.

Secondly, you can actually produce a skin for the program - all the strings relating to color, font, formatting etc. are stored in an external file. Plus of course the images are external too. While you may be asking why this is necessary, the point is that it's not just some app I've thrown together without prior consideration :D

Oh and as with the Vehicle Color Palette Editor the full source code is provided, so if you feel you can make an improvement or even develop a different editor yourself then go for it!

Description

This screenshot shows the work done on the Free Ride Extreme Editor part of FUEL: REFUELED's provided development tools. I last showed this back in May of 2012 - screenshot here: Moddb.com Since then its been given a make-over, most significantly the addition of a GUI.

As you change values in each of the relevant text boxes, some recognizable symbols are displayed to indicate what exactly you've set. Given how game weather behaves compared to real weather the symbols may not be exact, but closest possible meaning etc. (Wind for example has no direction or speed in-game.)

Zones field goes from 1 to 19 and Vista Point 1 to 6, if you enter anything else then you will get some red invalid text. Most common mistakes such as entering numbers out of range will be corrected, but the app is relatively simple so don't expect it to babysit you if you deliberately make mistakes.

I'm still working on this, its not yet finished - but I wanted to show current progress at least.
