Frontline Force was originaly released in 2000 for HL by Adrian "Pink" Finol (now with VALVe Software). The mod is a first person shooter which promotes teamwork in a FAST paced quick respawn environment. Standing still or camping will only get you killed! FLF has continually developed over the years, and is now moving to the HL2 source engine. We have a new Development team, Website, and some really nice refinements in work. We have 6 "remake" maps completed so far, and expect to have a couple; improved player models, hitboxes, etc. along with a fresh new look, and some new "stuff". Stop into our site and download the teaser video, and we will release screenshots and other media when we can.
Latest News: A Walkthrough of Kezman

From Slo-Mo's to Fountain, the map is an amazing reimagining of the original, and our first video spotlight by Tykjen.

Mod is still goin strong. We had a few team changes in the last couple months, and now back on track just not in the timeline we had hoped.
Hang in there.. We are :)
Is this mod dead? 3 months since last update and the release date says early 2006
we want more ss
The spanish canon is a prop model for the map Risu which is scaled from a real spanish fort.
Yes there are a few more weapons than the original FLF. Also some other features we will show off before too long.
:)
what is with the spanish cannon and some other stupid shit i saw!?!?!?
if this mod is gonna be fun, it better have more weapons than the first
Whoa, nice job there men, hope to see some ingame material soon. :) Man am I looking forward to that first public release of yours. \o/
FLF:C uses the hl2dm SDK.. no CSS in here anywhere. The only similarity between the two is the both use the same engine. Since the mods are both based on current - near future, then some weapons will be the same. Just remember that in most of these mods, if its military in particular, anyone could draw a comparison between 2 of them somewhere.
Since FLF was released in 2000-2001 and was one of the top 3 mods at the time, we have heard this discussion many many times. Its ok tho... once a person plays it.. you will know what the difference is. FLF is a team based game, free weapons, no waiting till end of round to respawn, mulitple classes, & attackers and defenders swap spawns every round. oh yeah... its FAST!
could you be specific on how exactly his mod is simliar to css? Do you mean our maps looks like its a css map because it uses hammer(the mapping tool for pretty much all source maps)? Or that we're using some textures from the sdk? We're making remakes of maps that have been around for years so if anything, css would have ripped us off if you find the architecture similiar.
Could you show us where exactly you found on our website that you break your leg if you fall down? I made the website I didn't write that anywhere. Additonally, where did you hear this mod is slow? It has one of the fastest runnings speeds I've seen in any mod of its kind.
Is it possible you have honestly no idea of what you're talking about?
I agree with spamdini that you really have no supporting arguements to support what you're saying.
just curiouse, how can u tell it LOOKS like css, doesnt that mean that any mod with similar looking maps would look like cs? u havent seen in game ss, so what are u basing (spelling nice)ur comment on. its not we cant take criticism its that we dont need useless comments, criticism is always welcome, and before u argue my criticism of ur comment follow ur own advice. im glad ur watching the mod though on moddb.
FLF was one of my fav. HL1 mods, i'm looking forward to this being released
