Firstly, Mr.Nameless has finished his brand new sound engine for GoldSrc. He has been working on this primarily for his mod Amnesia, but few days ago he offered me to add it into From Beneath. So FB will use it. You can read something about the sound engine on the Amnesia profile. Nameless also fixed some glitches in the code.
As for me... I progressed a bit in mapping, made a few new props and edited few older. So far two and half maps are done, first two are part of quite long intro cutscene. I also recently started working on the axe model. The axe itself will be almost the same as the one which you could see in the "Models and renderer preview" video, but the player will hold it in both hands and I'll make much better animations.
As is written in the headline, progress is slow, mainly because i can't seem to find enough time. But important is that something is still happening, even though it's not much. Also, I would still appreciate some help from a good modelers/texture artists, if you are interested write me a message on moddb.
A lot of things changed since i posted here the first preview (wow, was that whole year ago?!...). Anyway a lot of features has been added since then and the video is not really valid anymore. So very soon I plan to make new video containing particles, sound engine, water shader,... etc.
