My first, serious modding experience. Aimed at honing my skills at level design, gameplay value and environmental design, with focus on claustrophobic street fighting. This is a “learn on the fly” experience. I'm still learning the scripting side of things.

You do if you want a GOOD mod. But as for Assassin, I think they already have one, just arent sharing it.
No you don't. A good game can hold it's own on gameplay alone. What any good game needs is good game-play. If there's story, all the better, but if it's not going to be a good story, then why even bother?
