Freelancer: War-Torn is a mod for Microsoft and Digital Anvil's Freelancer that sets itself apart with gorgeous graphics, a complete gameplay rebalance, an astonishing amount of new, innovative features and an exciting storyline. Featuring a completely new arsenal, fully reworked ship combat, heavy tweaking of all the vanilla systems on top of many new ones and more eye candy than you could ever ask for, FLWT is one mod to look forward to. Created and imagined by the twisted minds of programexpert and CheeseOnToast, it will boast what both can do best: high polish, high quality and feature heavy modding goodness!
Synopsis
War, raging for decades... The one plague we thought was a matter from the past comes back to haunt us. Always. What began as a peaceful expedition motivated by survival is now an all out war for supremacy. Already, armies are massing on the borders. It all started some six years ago. What seemed like the greatest discovery of mankind in the Sirius sector might now be the dawn of our extinction. The technology, called Mass Phasing, can shatter bodies in smaller and smaller components, up to subatomic levels. Furthermore, it can then reverse the process and basically create mass from energy after transforming mass into energy. This discovery could open the doors of a new golden age for Humanity. Unfortunately, its first purpose was predictable: war. Samura Industries, the minds behind this massive breakthrough, lost an experimental weapon during an undercover shipment. Soon afterwards, Rheinland is rumored to have access to a weapon of unbelievable strength. Worried, the Kusari government expects the worst. However, Rheinland surprises everyone by concluding a durable alliance with Kusari and declaring war on Liberty, destroying the planet Houston. Bretonia comes to aid Liberty and the Houses War... Has begun.

It says "Freelancer Prerequisite" when I try to run the program, any solutions.
sorry didn't win prize offer for it wasn't completely free...if it was free without buying this and that it would be cool!
the game would be soo much cooler if u could actually fight it out with the characters... walk around the stations...had an apt on the different planets... sneak and break out the criminals if they was locked up in one of the prisons...like sugarland or be able to capture the authority and lock them up if u took over a prison base...sooo much more could of been done to improve the game...overall it is cool wondering where to explore finding the robot planet that is the order planet,monkey planet! maybe there will be mods for that and a mod to be the alien that captures the other players !

The graphics in screenshots are actually fairly sexy. Just not sexy enough that I need a change of pants.
Besides that this looks like it has a lot of promise for a mod. Keep it up.

It's becoming hard to work on the mod as we all have other priorities and so we need to split time between all of them. I'm trying to clear off a few things so I can work on it though!
I like to learn the mod before I take it online.
no clue...no game, might as well call it no SP exp in MP.
Also, lot of incanciderates out there who`d just as soon blast away at yer lil ship, calling it sport.
(like the guy I saw come up on the dead deer lay`n in the road, swerved into it just to crush the things skull)..oh sooo thrilling.
Dam that planet looks cool with that hole in it!
