This is a Realistic driving modification for Half life 2. You can be a driver, where you can walk up to your car, talk to your teammates, and ofcourse driving.
On its alpha release we are hoping for a fully functional Melbourne, Albert Park track. This is a multiplayer mod with up to 21 people on a server.
You can choose to drive you car or be a spectator and walk around the track. Each car company can have 2 drivers, they can talk to each other about there status and even hazards on the track.
The pit crew will be npc's and will call you in for example a accident and you can still move or low on fuel.
After the realease more tracks should be realeased in the future.

How many polies for that formula model??
Under Perfect circumastances... Lets say that model is sitting pretty at 10k (if you're lucky; looks more like 17K - 20K) with 21 players simultaneously and a fully propped race track + your animated npc's for each teams pit crew... not too mention all while on a NonLaggy server...

Hmm, the Formula looks nice. And it is kinda easy for you when this is Source mod, you can use the same Formula model but make just custom skins for it. It saves hell alot of space.
This will be interesting ... bet it will be difficult to keep the lag and fps down.

i can export them to hl2.
Life is hard, dont take the easy route.
what program are u using to make those models?
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD THIS MOD WILL BE TO MAKE, we should have called it something like Box Racing, as it would be easier to make
now those are nice models.
