Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon (FHSW) is an unofficial continuation of the famous Forgotten Hope (FH), a Battlefield 1942 modification. We say unofficial since FHSW is developed by FH fans, not the original FH creators. In 2007 it started as a small addon but since then it has grown to be one of the biggest mods of all time! What makes this mod special is that it adds lots of - but not only - Secret Weapons which saw limited or no action at all during WW2 like jet fighters and super heavy tanks. Some of the maps feature "what-if" battles like a landing operation on the Japanese mainland or attacking a secret German base in the African desert.

The design looks similar to the Renault FT series, especially considering the rear skid. I'll be sure to try it out once the next version comes out.

The back is from Renault Otsu but it's a miniature of Type 97 Chi-Ha, expecially the turret Shinhoto really characteristic.

Description

The Type 89 "I-Go" was used by the IJA from 1932 to 1942. Originally developed as light tank, it was reclassified as medium due to several improvements which increased the weight over 10-tons. Mass production started in 1931 and ended in 1939 with 400 completed vehicles. In the early years of WW2 it represents the main tank of the IJA. It's also the world's first mass produced diesel-engine tank.
