Description

The Hawker Hardy started life in the 1930s as the Hart; a small and nimble bi-plane that was used primarily as a light bomber by the RAF. The Hardy came to life later on in what was essentially a tropicalised, general purpose variant of the Hart. Combat sorties were mainly against forces in Italian-occupied areas of Africa, but the aircraft also saw action in several other countries with several other air forces.
