Forgotten Hope 2 is an award-winning World War II modification for Battlefield 2TM and is based on the original Forgotten Hope, a modification for Battlefield 1942TM, one of the most popular multiplayer games ever. Battlefield 1942TM featured land, sea and air combat in a way never before seen. It was the goal of the development team to maximize the game experience by adding both a realistic and enjoyable gameplay to FH and now to FH2.

New here is the insignia on the playermodel and also I think different (and more appropriate) equipment. The two tanks are the PzIII Ausf.L and Ausf.N from FH1 (there is already an Ausf.N in FH2, but this is an early export without the spaced armour). New to the British playermodels is once again equipment, but also that all classes on PeB have Royal Marine Commando green berets.

Always wondered, how limited by the engine are you guys when it comes to graphical improvements based on denser textures and geometry? Not to dock how great of a job you guys have done, but it's something that has interested me. I'd really love to see the draw distance expanded too, which I know can be done (seen it with the BF2 Allied Intent Extended mod). It would be incredibly nice for the huge desert maps.

I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about, but I'd say that the main limit would be the amount of RAM that BF2 can make use of (which is 2GB iirc).

No individual map uses that much memory, but because the engine adds things to memory before removing old things when loading maps, you eventually will suffer a CTD after 4 or 5 maps have been loaded in succession.
