Congratulations for the work
stays that way

I have a question:

1) You still want to put more new civilizations, maybe Anglo-Saxon/Saxony, Germany, Russian, Burgundy ... would have any chance to appear in the future?

Question, I have 2 computers set up for LAN games. We are able to play the conquerors with no problems. However when we tried to play FE this happened:

The 1st computer cannot locate any LAN games hosted by the 2nd computer.
The 2nd computer can locate LAN games hosted by the 1st computer, but when it joins it cannot make it to the lobby. It will try to connect for longer than 15 seconds, then the colors on the screen become inverted. After another 15 seconds it returns to the menu.

I have the gold edition of AOE2, and the same CD is installed on both computers. I also have no other mods and I do not have any of the 3rd party software to play Online matchs. Is any one of these the reasons why FE is unable to work on LAN? Thanks for any help.

Are you using XP and win 7 LAN connected computers? IF you have such a set up, you need to change the LAN coding value of the win 7 machine to be 48 rather than 128, so the LAN works propperly with the XP (that works with 48) To do so, go to the management of you LAN on the WIN 7 computer, diable the password for the LAN and change the value for data coding(I don`t remember the exct name but those are the valñues 128 to 48, it`s a check box)Also remember that fot mods to propperly work on Multiplayer games you have to use the same set of files in both games, if they are discording It wont work.

You're going to have to wait for the remake to be released before that can be determined, but given how much the game has been changed up, I think it'll have to be ported across.

It's been so long, this was my favourite game throughout highschool. Ah the nostalgia.. my question and I hope somebody serious (from the mod team) will answer this: Is there a way to make maps larger than 255x255?

This is a great mod. I have a suggest for you guys: Can put some kind of option to avoid the system to use monks? That is something i always annoying me, since AoE1, The monks are to irreal, they can convert your soldiers, catapults, SHIPS!!???, WTF IS THAT?. Some civilization abuse of them and come with a whole army of monks...that is not realistic, is stupid., i want massacre not "magic convertions".

The best would be making the monk only can convert villagers, buildings and heal units, but not more than that. The original IA when use Monks is like cheating, i dont like it. Well Thats all, thanks for make this awesome mod.

I 2nd this. A played a match, and the AI literaly sent an army of at least 30 monks, no other units. I couldent send my army out my gate, and their monks were camping the gate trying to get in. It was kinda funny, but I had to make a army of Hussars just so they wouldent get converted haha.
