With my changes for the campaign AIs, the story will feel more as it is supposed to, in my opinion ;) This is no real mod for FA, you only need to replace files of your FA installation. Easy installation and lots of fun changes ^^

yeah i had a problem in this misson i tryed going threw on normal and just got killed by t3 soo fast i must of spent 30 mins putting up defences just trying to stop them from killing the factories XD and then still died as i couldnt get to t3 fast enough

Then I hope I've made you happy! T3 is gone and there are less shielded strike forces coming from the Order position ;)

I'm actually happy that it's impossibly hard, lol. I just wish that allied base did more, as in more t2 units and defenses. Beside that, bring on the immense attacks, woot!

She did that before, and she was too powerful back then :(
That is because most of the Order forces were then unable to reach your base/commander. I have balanced it out so that you'll also be under attack ;)

i am always hide in the loyalist base and construct an land fac. and some defenses while my ACU upgrades to T2 and then i build T2 defenses and T2 power and mass generators, when i have the T3 ACU i start to build extra defenses while moving foward. and i always wait till my base is done to become attacking the first objective(and by base done i mean 2 mavors 2 dukes and 2 nukes!)

As you all can see i like to play turtle: slow careful expanding and hard to hit defenses!.

That was also the way I played! Well, without nukes and arty but slowly moved forward using that single mass spot in the Loyalist base. That is the reason I never died at the start of this mission :)

But that shouldn't be a problem anymore, it should have become easier to set up your base of operations there now :)

yea i finally completed this mission on Hard. Had to turtle up with T1 defences for quite a while. Longest game i played for a single mission each.

As Cybran while on hard mode I found my best chance of surviving is to build a land factory and have a few tech one engineers work on a lot of t1 power and mass (upgrade the mass to two when practical) and immediately have the commander head north east after the land factory, going into the water to avoid enemy tank formations, and heading to the two t3 power plants in the east. I would use overcharge on the t3 plants so they take out the t1 defenses as well, then head immediately back to base, reclaiming stuff along the way. The Order base sends very few attacks after that.

And when I say immediately build a land factory then send the commander north east, I mean immediately after you start, without taking out the attack force first. When your commander heads north east he will take out enough of what's left.

A good tactic indeed... The order has power problems when you destroy the T3 Power Plants so it basically cripples their production. I have to remember this :)

I randomly decided to do something with Operation: Dawn's first Order base. I can't really think of stuff anymore, I already did so much for it :)
anyways, I swapped some air and land factories, and even added both an air and land factory. You'd think this made them stronger, but actually... I also made them weaker, some people had trouble establishing a base during this phase so yeah, weaker they are! In return, the Loyalists are also weaker, as they'll now only use 1 engineer (2 on easy) to rebuild the base and assisting engineers has been brought down greatly too!
