On Star Trek TOS, you will see a complete mod from the Kirk era made with the stuff from Star Fleet Command TOS mod and many more new things. Thanks to all these creators, this mod will be finished very fast and with great quality. At a first place the mod will add only space combat but for a non too far future, I wait add ground units.

Some thoughts:
1. Pre-TMP starfleet phasers should be blue.
2. The briefing VOs should be filtered to exclude any Star Wars-specific lines.
3. Imperial VOs don't really fit the tree-hugging, pacifist, diplomacy-first, prime-directive Federation.
4. I'm pretty sure the population of Risa is not Mon Calamari loyal to the Klingon Empire. XD
5. It seems weird for large aircraft to be transported to the ground.
6. Klingons retreating?!? Should that even be an option for them? LOL.

I'm sure you're aware of at least most of these bugs and are working on them, but I figured I'd point them out.

Also, some ideas for replacing the current phaser effects I'm not sure if you've tried or not.

1. Making them particles.
2. Making them a quick burst of smaller projectiles.
3. Creating a "special ability" triggered every time the unit/hardpoint (can hardpoints have abilities?)attacks which creates a "lightning effect" that is the phaser beam.

I dunno, just some thoughts.

2. It is difficult remove everything from SW.

6. Can be but again part from the 2. You do not know how difficult is a mod from this type. Look there are very few mods with new ground additions and how many do you know from another universe with ground combat?

About the ideas. My primary point is make one basic mod, I repeat, the amount of work made by the moment is very huge and all these things take many time. However I like a lot how the ground combat looks.

I understand. Modding EaW is hard work. I know because I've done it myself. I just thought I'd point those out. I'll still download the final product even if you don't do any of that.

Description

This is the status from the mod today. Most of the important features are finished but it needs several tweaks as a bigger galaxy, more tweaks in the ground units, probably better proyectiles for the ground units and perhaps, at least if they want be used in the campaign, ground buildings and vehicles for the additional factions from SFC2, they are ISC, Hydran, Mirak, Lyran and Gorn. I believe how I can make the minimun neccesary buildings and units for them with the designs from the space units. I would not make infantry units for these factions because it would very difficult and in fact it is not very neccesary.
